fri 16th: got into zhangjiajie at 9:45am. went to the bus station, loads of buses but everything in chinese. with a few 'cherades' i managed to find out there was no bus that went to the village. i then had to figure out which bus went to the station in the city. saw a westerner jump on a bus so followed him. he was heading the same place as me. a girl with basic english said she'll tell us where to get off and what bus to get on. got to the village, but its hug...
