friday 9th: did the peak in the morning and walked around the shopping malls at the top. went to the bird aviary in hong kong park - beth had a little present lol. then did the midway escalators. got some cocktails at happy hoiur and decided to stay out in soho.
sat 10th: picked up my visa, then caught mtr to go to outer territories. saw a temple, abandoned village and the 10000 buddhas monestary which was amazing. best temple ive been to so far. bought train ticket for guangzhou -guilin (after some effort). went to kowloon and temple market, ate at a little busy cafe on temple st to give beth a feel of asian life. went to the harbour to see the skyline, but wasnt very clear. star ferry and mtr back to hotel -city gardens hotel.
changed hotels 4 times, but that was because of me, trying to find a more reasonable priced one that wouldnt cripple me.
dont know why, and not being a fan of cities at all. i absolutely fell in love with hong kong.
