Well we finally did it. We crossed the water to Buenos Aires! On Friday morning at 7am we boarded a bus to Colonia, which was about 2 and a half hours away. Once in Colonia, we cleared customs and hopped on the ferry that would bring us to Buenos Aires. Thursday was an awesome day in Montevideo. We (Jasmine, Alyssa, Ryan and I) visited the US Embassy. What an amazing place! We learned so much about the operations of the State Department. Veronica, the lady who coordinated our visit, first gave us a tour of the building before we met with multiple people from the different agencies (departments) of the Embassy.
