So, it's three weeks now till we head off on our big round the world adventure!!

We've set up this blog so we can let you, our friends and family know what we've been getting up to, as well as uploading some of our pictures for you to see!

We still have a bit to sort out before we go, including the dreaded packing...Ryan will be fine, he's already told me he's taking two pairs of jeans, 4 t shirts, two jumpers and some pants! Easy! My packing however will be a lot more complex, skirts, shorts, dresses, cardigans, tops, not to mention shoes! How on earth do I fit enough stuff for both chilly New York and boiling Fiji into one rucksack!!?

Next week we embark on our last week of work and have a leaving party planned to see all our friends at the weekend. I can't wait to see everyone dressed up...the theme is 'Round the world' so we're hoping to see some Arabian dancers, Mexicans, who knows!

That's followed by my cousins wedding in Somerset...I'm a bridesmaid so looking forward to getting dressed up a bit before I live in shorts and t-shirts when we're travelling! It'll be a great chance to catch up with all my family as well as having a bit of time out from all the packing and organising!

Our first stop is New York, A city I've always wanted to visit, and one that I'm sure will set our trip off with a bang! Here's to walking in central park, chomping on pizzas and hot dogs, visiting arty galleries and climbing the empire state building.... And here's to the start of our amazing adventure!
