Bangkok: what can i say.....steamingly hot and heaps of pollution but after the initail culture shock i have come to like bangkok quite a bit. Having my very first experience with the city on a busy saturday night was probably not the best timing and was quite overwhelming to say the least.....

the streets were packed with people, loud music, beautiful aromas of food wafting past, taxis, tuk tuks and mopeds all zooming past!! but by day it is more relaxed, the pace of life slow and the people are extremely friendly. I have spent my days lazily roaming around the streets visiting stunning temples and parklands.

oh and i did have a scary encounter in a tuk tuk.....my driver was a sweet old man...or so i thought...his driving had a lot to be desired and could put manchester boy racers to shame! there was times i was gripping onto the seat praying i wasnt about to die....but we made it...thank god.
