not much to say about the past week or so. ive met some good people and done a lot of going out. at night the hostel is usually pretty tame but there are always a few folks downstairs at the bar getting ready to sample bsas´nightlife. tuesday night i went to a drum n bass club which was surprisingly fun. really fast and heavy techno beats until all hours of the morning and i was up at 5 pm the next day. i seem to be developing a pattern. we also had a valentines day party at the hostel which, although it was pretty much a bust, i would count among the best valentines days ive had. the plaza serrano in palermo viejo is the hub of pre'clubbing activity, which means its packed nearly every day of the week until at least 3. but 2 weeks of buenos aires can wear on a fellow so im off to cordoba for a few days or a few months. maybe back to ba on the weekend to stare at a couple waitresses and gather the courage to ask them about getting a green tea.
