Hi! Well just over three weeks before we leave so we are starting to get pretty excited. Instead of the post cards by snail mail and the often failed attempts to use the phone when on the other side of the world in a different time zones we are going to use the offexploring blog site again. djimila I cant believe that there are all straight boats in a row near the city so close.It is also interesting that the city is 3-5 metros below sea level.

Meredith Sounds as though things are pretty relaxed, Russell. Did you do some bike riding in Amsterdam? It's great being able to read the blog and look at photos. I'm going to do the same when we travel next year....might get some hot tips from you! Enjoy the rest of your stay in Brussels. Sorry to have bothered you about the house stuff, but thought I should be keeping everyone in the loop. Anyway.....all under control now. Hopefully the eagle will land safely on the 26th! Meredith Morrell Hi Russell and Jill. Well I guess by now you've arrived in Brussels. Looking forward to seeing some photos of Alicia. No doubt she will have grown a lot and will be very interested in life in general! Finally seeing some nice spring weather....at last! I don't think we're going to see it for long though...more rain and cold weather forecast for Sunday. Lionel and I are going to drive to Hobart and have lunch with Hannah and Hamish for Father's Day so I'm hoping we don't have a wet trip down and back. Love to all. Meredith xxxxx

Rose Chandler Hi Russell and Jill, Good to hear that you've 'done' Shanghai - not keen on staying any longer by the sound of it.
