Yesterday i went back into the city...i walked really far up 5th Avenue, went to the Apple Store, which was really cool! and went into FAO Schwarz, the toy store, which was quite amusing.

After that i walked through Central Park, up to the Frick Collection. That was pretty cool, i liked some of the paintings, but to be honest i got a little bored in there - i seem to walk round exhibition really quickly! i did like the Garden Court in the middle though, with its fountain and little plants...it was really chilled in there.

After the Frick i walked back a different way through Central Park...it's so huge! just seems to extend for ever! It was really funny, there were all these people roller-dancing! very strange...you don't really ever see that in london! I Ended up at the Time Warner Center and then I walked all the way down Broadway into Times Square (on a Saturday...big mistake! it was packed!). i carried on walking down Broadway until i got to Macy's, i went in and had a little look around but i wasn't really in the mood for shopping..i was quite tired by that point!

Anyway, i finally made it to the Empire State Building (which had been where i was aiming to go all day) but by the time i got there it was dark and i was tired...and also i'd wanted to go up early in the light, or when the sun was setting so i didnt go up...but i'll go another day and time it all better i think.

Today i think i'm going to go to the cinema in Mamaroneck, maybe go see 'The Savages' or 'Definitely Maybe'...not sure yet.
