Sounds like u've had an eventful start to south america! Cant believe how much those taxi drivers were asking for a journey!! Thats crazy and they have some nerve! Oh well, u live and learn as they say.

Congratz on being the only Rupali for 4,000Km radius! That is impressive! Im thinking about making it law that u r the only Rupali in the world. I feel u have deserved that honour.

As I am telling everyone here (im sure they are sick of me saying it) but I got a first for my final year project. And if I have got over 70% for my last unit then I will have a first overall for my degree. i'm not holding my breathe tho as the coursework wasn't the best i have ever done, but there is still a chance. I'll let u know as soon as I find out.

hows south am? good luck with riding a bike, its so easy, best to start off with stabilisers to learn though! chch is ok, we went snowboarding the other day, great to get back out on the slopes again! enjoy sth am!

Buenos dias!!! Am now in Santiago in Chile}1 arrived earlier today after almost missing my flight! Noooooo!!! Met up with James, we´ve eaten and taken walk round town. Tis cool city. Also managed to fity in trip to cinema to watch Shrek 3, bit of a let down i'm afraid :(

Off to bed soon, off to Easter Island tomorrow, where i may have to re learn how to ride a bike!

ps have been 'strongly advised´ by head of school i was teaching in in Auckland, New Zealand, to apply for a job starting October this year, for 3 months! pretty exciting! more about that later!
