I've had my sister and nephew here over the last couple of days which was cool. I taught him to fetch me beer from the fridge, and the phrase "bow-chicka-bow-wow". Im so proud of him. :D

Sponge Rob, eh? Can we call him Rob for short?

So hows the bath sponge stealing business these days? I'd imagine quite slow as a lot of ppl just shower these days. And everyone knows a shower sponge is completely different to a bath sponge. Its would ruin ur collection if u got a bath sponge.

When u go to the north island remember they call speak northern up there.... its sounds kinda like a cross between a Mancurian and a kiwi. If u happen to come across a pirate up there I'd b interested in finding out what a croass between a kiwi, a manc and a pirate wounds like. Just get a recording and e-mail it to me. Thanks.

Hope ur having fun in Auckland..... the land of the Auck. Not sure what an Auck is just yet but I will do research on the subject.... sounds like more fun that doing actual useful research.

How is the teaching job going?

I bought a car a few days after we got back from Northland and I am still travelling on the North Island, currently near Mt Taranaki. I hope to be in Wellington in a couple of days and then continue my trip on the South Island.

You're a good travel journalist, in the sense that you really make me want to go the places you went to! So I will keep your recommendations in mind when I go back to Aussie.

"Bruce" is a good aussie name!

Or call him "Down"..... then people can say "Hey look, there goes Up and Down".

My final suggestion is "DooBeeDoo"... just cos its sounds funny :D
