Well the bus journey was long and uncomfortable but we finally landed in broome and made our way to the hostel and even though it was 7 at night it was still boiling! The next day Hannah and I got the shuttle to cable beach, which is said to be one of the most beautiful beaches in he world, so I was expecting a lot and was slightly disappointed, to me it wasn't take your breath away special! It was lovely but not White sand like I was expecting, although the waves were cool! We didn't stay on the beach long as it was too hot and there was no shade so we went and sat under a palm tree on the grass above the beach. We chatted away the time until the shuttle took us back to the hostel, and I pottered away the afternoon before making my way to the town beach to watch the stairway to the moon. It was absolutely beautiful. I've never seen or knew that the moon rises but it does in broome! It was incredible to see, especially as it started out red just like a sunrise! And as it rose it was reflected on the sea and the mudflats as the tide was so far out and looked as the name suggest, like a stairway up to it. It was beautiful! So much so that we went and watched it again he next night!!
Broome was quite a small town so spent time just wandering around the shops and looking at all the pearls that are farmed here-if only I was rich!!
Friday was my final day here so I just did some errands and relaxed before my epic 27 hour journey to Darwin!!
