Entered the first stages of bear country in Lake Tahoe, and also started the final leg of the trek. Tahoe was fun place to be except for the bears - we had a couple of visitors to the campsite but thankfully they were caught down at the bottom of the site and not up the huge hike hill we were put at...no complaints from us. Not really much to do there except laze around on the beach - hard life ehhh. Shops were few and far between and too expensive for what they were offering. Yosemite was fab - more scenic than Yellowstone but nowhere near as many animals. Campsite we stayed at was a dump though - dont even get me started on it. God awful facitilities (thankfully didn't catch anything!!) and some real trailer trash families complete with stained brown furry sofas and their cheap ass beers!! Some of the trek group decided to do an 8 mile hike from Glacier Point back to the Village area but frankly nathan and I couldn't be arsed!!
