Our stop for Rome was a recommendation from the Harris'. It is on the edge of Lake Bracciano. From here the campsite would give you a morning lift to the railway station and from there you can catch the train into Rome central. So that is what we did. Our next run was to get towards Rome, so we left florence and headed to a night halt about halfway down in a national park. It was a lovely stop location, other than the large and painful blood sucking insects which discovered a taste for Rox's blood

We left Pisa and headed towards Florence and a camperstop location in the city. On the way we stopped off at Pinochio Land (Not the greatest but it provided a distraction) and then head to Florence. After some advanced motorhome rally driving through the centre of Florence we reached the camperstop and paid for our 24 hours parking. We left the Cinque Terra region and headed down the Italian Toll road out of the region as we needed to make some progress down the coast to Pisa and the toll road provided the best option. We got to the campsite to the north of Pisa and settled down for the night. The following day we got up and caught the local bus service in to Pisa and had a look at the leaning tower. We grabbed a bit of lunch and returned to the campsite for a dip in the pool at the site.

We got up the morning and walked up to the station to catch the train down to the villages in the Cinque Terra. The train ticket allowed us to get on and off at various stations along the route and so we explored the villages, climbed slopes, eat ice cream and had a good time over all.
