Today we left Alicante and flew to Munich. We got in in the evening so we decided that we shoul just head straight out for dinner and some beers, andwhat better place than the Hofbrauhos! The place is massive and was actually a place that the members of the Nazi party use to meet.
Aftee some schnitzle and 5 L of beer (3 for me and 2 for nat) we were chatting to a couple from the states that pretty much gave us their life story. Nat then met some Aussies and she had us gping back to their hostel to drink more. I lnew what we would encounter and wasnt too keen, but nat was so who was i to say no! After being in there for five minutes Nat turned to me and said "i feel so old" (slighht slur and yell) we left after our half litre each and back to our nice hotel, that turns out we got cheaper than the double at the hostel) as it was 2ish and we had a big day planned.

Today we woke up a little hungover if you can believe it. And what better place to go with a hangover but to a quaint little town called Dachau, and visit its concentration camp.
Very strange place that i am really having a tough time in trying to describe, sp as to not make light of the place and respect the thousands that had been detained and died there i wont. But i do have to say that it is a worthwile experience to visit one of these horrible places to really gain a furthrr understanding and so this type of thing may never happen again.
After returning we went for some dinner and a beer and walked around a bit, but were pretty tired so had an early evening.

Today we went on a tour out to Neuschwanstein Castle. This was the castle of the crazy king von ludwig the second. It was his fairytail castle that was decorated solely as homage to great medievil love stories, and was built in the late 1800's, although he only finished 16 of the 60 rooms before he died and only lived there for like 175 days.
In the morning we went on a guided bike tour around the castle amd down to lake Schwan, the countryside was pretty increfible.
We then had some lunch and rode the alpine slide which was essentially a luge track without the ice, and then hiked up the canyon sand waterfall to the top to tour the castle. It was actually a pretty cool day.
That night we went back to the Hofbrauhos with another Aussie couple and had some beers and more schnitzle. Tomorrow, Berlin.
