Well as they often say, just when you think that Las Vegas can't get any tackier, it does.

Yesterday we caught the bus to Freemont Street to find first off, The Heart Attack Cafe. Here if you weigh in over 350 pounds you eat free. They also serve a quadruple decker hamburger which has the world's highest calorie count at 9982 calories. This is teamed wuth the World's Highest Butter Fat Shake.

Across the road from them is a bar which boasts THE WORLD'S LARGEST Pint Glass. Just up the road is a wedding chapel where they have a drive through window so you don't even need to get out of the car to get married. I guess the best man and bridesmaid sit in the back.

There is contoversy rageing as Las Vegas claims the WORLD'S LARGEST Gift Shop. but we had already seen the world's largest gift shop along route 66. I just hope that the jury reaches a firm and quick decision as this is not good for the tourist game. Bit like boxing really where there are many competing world champions.

There are many empty blocks of land along the strip and most building sites are shut down, including one hotel which is about 30 floors tall with most of the glass in it but little else.

The Mandalay Bay Hotel which was next to the Excalibur where we stayed has a shiny silver tatoo parlour in the lobby. Earlier we saw a drive through Tatoo Parlour on route 66.

They also have THE WORLD'S LARGEST commercial decelerator descent at Sky Jump where people with a death wish leap off a tower 829 feet tall.

I am sure that the guitar on the front of the Hard Rock Cafe is a World's Largest, and the Coke Bottle two doors up is similarly world large.

Still we got out of Las Vegas without gambling one cent and without any harm coming to us.

Now back in Kingman Arizona we are on route 66 again and continue our journey tomorrow.
