We left early morning and we were all excited on our way to Dover! When we got to the port and checked in they didn't charge us extra for having a different car!

Angelica was given a Ferry teddy bear & a colouring kit from them : ) She was all happy!

We had lots of fun on the crossing Angel loved to see the sea, the other boats & there was a playroom full of kids for her to play! So nice! Time went by really fast!

When we arrived in Calais Ben was very confident with roads & map I was very surprised! : ) I have an excellent driver hahaha : )
I on the other hand wished for a sat nav and refused to navigate as I hate maps. Eventually I gave in and helped out.

So we decided to travel down the coast from Calais stopping off at Wissant for lunch. We went to the Batterie Todt bunker museum, after we had a quick stop at cap gris nez.

In the end of the day we went to check in our bed & breakfast!
Very cheap & i got a deal for £34 the whole family! a very simple & basic place but super clean & friendly ambience! & free car parking.

We loved it because we met lovely people with kids too so Angelica had lots of fun & we spoke to lots of couples from England too!

The breakfast was excellent better than we could imagine for such a cheap bed & breakfast! I will write a very good review on trip advisor!

So here we are all ready for day 2!
Lets see what this crazy adventure brings : ) we are loving it for the fact that we planned just the essential like hotel and few things we can see etc... But mostly we are playing it by ear and going where the wind takes us xx
