Love the chanel Island pixs. You sound like you are enjoying them. We started watching the other series, "Island at War". It's good too but different. Haven't gotten down to get pears or apples but I'm still struggling a bit with recovery.

So glad you are liking Portugal. The villa we stayed was across the bridge and up the hill looking down across the vineyards. Hope you got to enjoy the wine stomping.
When i went with Katies Spanish class we stayed in Salamanca and on a tripfor the 2 of us spent a great night in the square watching the paseo and a play.

The wines of the Duoro valley are wonderful. Last night we had a vintage port that was spectacular.
