I have been a bit slack in reporting that we are finally home after visiting Mount Morgan we took five days to get back home. The photo here is one of my favourites from our trip on Lake Argyle and also a place we would love to visit again

Not much happening here as we visit Ross's brother Alan and Sister in law Alma in Mt Morgan. They were very pleased to see us. We went to one of the local pubs for lunch yesterday and Ross's nephew Steven came up too. It was great to catch up on family news. Ross and I went for drive to Rockhampton today. We leave tomorrow travelling south towards home
Monday September 3rd The temperature today is a very comfortable 26c as we drive from Cloncurry to Winton Qld. Winton is the home of a newly built Waltzing Matilda Centre after the previous centre burnt to the ground on Thursday 18th June 2015. The Waltzing Matilda Centre is the first museum in the world dedicated to a song. 'Waltzing Matilda' was written by 'Banjo' Paterson whilst holidaying on Dagworth Station Winton. 21st August We left Fitzroy Crossing today to drive to the free camp called Mary's Pool. Ross and I were spending some time playing Scrabble when a campervan pulled up right next to us and blew its horn. It was Ross's mate, Paddy from Port Hedland, whom we had visited while we were there. Sunday 19th August We left Carnarvon and headed for Point Samson which meant staying at various free camps along the way. We can't get over how much caravan parks have increased their prices the price to stay at the caravan park at Point Samson was $49 per night, The winds were very strong for most of the time. We thought we might treat ourselves to fish and chips on our first night $25 for three small pieces of fish and some chips (we only dined there once)....
