Hi all, hope you are all doing well. Starting to miss home a bit (ok a lot) now! This computer is very annoying and the H key doesnt work well so expect a few missed out. In Unawatuna tis weekend which is a gorgeous beach. Picture postcard perfect, crystal clear blue sea, palm trees and white sands. We also went to Galle on Friday which was ok, but I don;'t know if i liked Galle. It just had a bit of a strange atmoshpere and felt like tourists were very targeted at in a bad way. We also had a bit of a dodgy guest house- me and becky were fine in our room but four of the other girls were all in one room and had some weird sri lanken woman walk in in the middle of the night and shine torches in their faces!! A bit scary. Te wole group of us, 12 have come along this weekend so its been fun. We arrived in Unawatuna yesterday and bummed about all day until the evening when we went for a delish meal then onto a beach party, which started very morbidly in the rain, but got a lot better. This morning we were all booked to do this snorkelling trip but all the others except me, laura and becky backed out at the very last minute coz they were so hungover which i was sooo pissed off about as i was so looking forward to it but it went ahead in the end. We got a boat round to a tiny bay which was lovely but the snorkelling wasnt fantastic, no live coral or anything. Saw some brightly coloured fish and a shark though. Very very very hot so cant be bothered to write much more. The weeks been good anyway, i think im settling in a lot more and getting into the swing of things.
