Today my classroom was a Buddha statue, but it wasn't just a Buddha statue it was one of the biggest Buddha statues in the world!
I am so glad I saw it, mainly because it's like a once and a life time thing, but also because the journey to get there is quite amazing! On the way there I think I went on the longest gondola EVER! We had already traveled an hour but then had to wait 2 more hours just to get on!
But we eventually got there.
When we got on the gondola we were there for a long time but in that time we made some nice friends. Later on I saw the same people and said loud and clear, "HELLO!" Right next to our friend was a…
COW!
He was brown and had really dark brown, or really light black horns. P.S. there was more than one cow and 2 were eating out of the trashcan. There was also baby with it's Mom that we saw right behind us so we had to take a picture and during the picture, Mama cow took one of her horns and started lifting up Captain O's leg. Then the next thing you know we are back in the waiting line in the freezing cold to get a gondola. (Again)!
But just like when we were waiting to get there we finally got on the VERY long gondola ride and set back home.
THE END
Here is one fact that I thought was really interesting that I would like to share with you.
The Buddha is 34m (112 ft.) tall, and weighs 250 metric tons.

Paige The statue sounds very cool! I can't believe how big it is. I am sure riding on the gondola was a lot of fun. What season is in in China right now? I hope Caption O did not mind the cow lifting up her leg! Can't wait to hear more.
