No I have deceived you - we are no where near a beach!

Tuesday was a little bit odd - we headed out to see Auswistch, I wasn't quite sure what to expect and i wouldn't say it was a good day but it was very interesting.

There are 3 main camps - the first of which has lots of displays, information and a rather graphic film.� there was quite a bit of footage from when the camp was set free and the conditions that some of the people were in was just horrific.� I went with a morbid fascination and an expectation to be shocked.� i walked round pretty much the whole thing numb, the first place was a bit bizzar as it didn't really seem horrific enough to be real but when we moved over to see Birkenau it was a lot more how i� had imagined it. �

overall it was a very interesting day, followed by a very good night in a bar.� the 6th person in the dorm room had snored pretty much the whole of the previous night so i through that if i had a couple fo drinks I would be able to sleep through it.� Jamie had wanted to watch the football match so Michelle, Gaz, James and I went to a bar next door to where the match was playing - it was really funky - all painted red and it had loads of pictures and cut out new print plastered over the walls!� we drank apple vodka's till the game finished when the others - Jamie, Fattie and an Irish couple came and joined us and we drank some more!� it was a really good night!� and I didn't hear the guy snoring! �
