Eventually got in to Brisbane at 6pm, after 7 hours waiting around in Perth airport then getting a 5 hour flight across the country. Met Nick, Java and Jessie at the airport and drove across the city to their house. Very tired from all the travelling, the girls are all very excited!

Lazed around today reading my book. Took the girls to school this morning adn had a nice lunch outside with Liz. Went to the local park in the evening.

Went into the city today with Nick on the train, had a coffee and watched the world go by!! Changed my flight and had a look around the city. Went on a boat ride up and down the river, including South Bank which has an artificial beach! Right in the middle of the city! Crazy!! Babysat for Han, Jess and Java in the evening and we did some piccies and stuff!

Liz, Java and I went to 'Lone Pine' today, which is like a sanctuary thing for Kangaroos, Koalas etc. Got to feed the Kanagaroos in a field which was scary but Java just marched right up to them and fed them!! She's so fearless!! Stroked a snake but chickened out of stroking the 'harmless' snake! Hannah, Java and I went for a swim in the afternoon! Very tired again!

Saw the sun rise which was pretty, we went to this Easter Festival thing at the beach, the kids did an egg hunt and the easter bunny parachuted in to the beach! A man was doing a sand sculpture which was amazing. Java and I made some sand castles and we chilled out on the beach. Made homity pie for tea! :)

Relaxed in the morning then we went to a BBQ at this place where there was tennis courts and pools and stuff, I went for a long swim. Naomi and her family were really ncie, but she ade me taste salmon! Which tasted just like the sea..why would you want to eat something which tastes like the sea??!!

Easter day! Booked flight from Cairns to Sydney. Packed some of my stuff and the girls had an easter egg hunt! We went for a bike ride in the evening.

Went into the city to try to get a train ticket for tomorrow but everywhere I needed was closed which was annoying but hopefully it'll be ok tomorrow. Went shopping!! We went to Laines house in the evening, she has a cute baby called Yuel who I cuddled lots! My last night with Liz and Nick! Will be sad to go. It's like a home from home here. I like it.

Got up really early to get the train, is a super long ride, the veiw and landscape is nice but all the same and nothing that I haven't seen before - tall trees and creeks! Couldn't sleep for the whole journey.. fun times! Was a really fat woman next to me during the night taking up half my seat and so huge that her tummy reached the seat in front so was trapped in all night!
