We touched down in Hong Kong at around 5pm, after a fantastic flight in which we were upgraded to Business Class thanks to Mark and Sally Heaton. We didn't really want the flight to end as we were so comfy (how often do you say that about long haul??!).
The first night saw us get our bearings in Kowloon and have some nice cheap noodles and rice with chicken and spicy beef in a local restaurant. We even got complimentary green tea so everyone was a winner.
The area is one of the most crowded places we've ever been to- you have to use your elbows a hell of a lot, so we're in our element!
We went to the harbour last night to see the Avenue of Stars, finding Jackie Chan's star and the statue of Bruce Lee was definitely the highlight (pictures of these will appear when we've figured out how to put them on).
Off to the main island today on the Star Ferry to see the skyscrapers, the Victoria Peak and the racetrack. Hopefully we can win enough there to finance the next 6 months!
