Hi Guys!!
Thought I'd leave you a little note to see how you're both getting on. I'm totally lost as to what part of the trip you're on or where abouts you are in Oz but it all sounds awesome! Was looking at your pics - I would no way be able to cope seeing that snake!
Anyway, you're not missing out on much over & we all can't wait for both your returns!
Take care

Hi Rory
Very impressed with the photos of dangerous wildlife in Oz. Snakes and crocs look scary as well. No doubt you will be glad when Mum dad and Sis arive to save you form yourselves and other threats to lfe and limb. Hope you have managed to find time to open a tinny for me.

Hi Ben,
Your mum is staying staying with us for a night so I've been shown this great site. Absolutely wonderful photos!! But it's a pity that you didn't enjoy Canberra - although I will admit that it's a bit lacking in people, atmosphere and excitment, it's good if you know where to go, really! Well, keep travelling and have fun!
Auntie Norma

Rory,
I have been looking at your pictures and after quite some thought I have come to the conclusion that 'yir baw's ir foo A s*!*e'!!!. Anyhoo - it's actually Ben from Fordell, you may have guessed that it was not actually Sexi Daz due to the fact that I can spell words of four letters+, although I'm sure you were excited at the thought of Darren taking time out of his hectic schedule of breaking stuff to contact you - good to see yer havin fun - don't get eaten by crocs/alligators/snakes/sharks!
Grannie
Hi Rory - I'm just back from the shores of Lake Garda in Italy after spending a lazy wine/food filled fortnight with Jim and Mabs! You seem to be having an exciting time down underbut I don't envy you all those creepy crawlies- one could get really paranoid! I expect you will be looking forward to seeing the parents & Catriona. Have you missed them? Not that you are going to admit it! I bet they are looking forward to meeting up with you. I expect you will be joining them on the boat week. Your Dad seems to have had a great time sailing up and round the west coast recently. he must have inherited salt in his blood from somewhere! This is Wimbledon fortnight but today rain is expected so 'no play' will be the order of the day. Everyone seems to be getting ready for their hols - Deb & Co are off to France this week too - Ross got his results on Sat. three B's so he is thrilled and will be able to relax and enjoy his holiday. I'll be keeping track of your movements - it's a great invention this! Take care luv from Grannie xxx

Wolf
hi ben and rory,i enjoy reading your travel reports. i assume that most your friends are non oz thus they wouldn't kno that funnel webs do not use long drops as their habitat. in long drops you'll find red backs, not as bad as funnel webs, they just give your arse a red tinge and bump.
all's well south of the border, work started on the car port etc.
pamela did win an interesting art prize and sold quite a number of her works.
keep up ypour post cards, just stay truthful.
cheers from wolf and pamela
