Sunday, October 14th, we toured the city of Florence Italy with our guide for the day. We left the bus and did a walking tour of the city, stopping at many churches and bell towers and ending up at the main square, where shopping is the flavour of the day. Our day in Rome started early in the morning, as we were about an hours drive from the ship to Rome. We started our visit with a great guide who took us to the colosseum first, and explained all the history related to the colosseum. Then on to the Sisteen Chapel where we did the "Sistene Chapel Shufle" making our way through the Chapel. What a crowd, and it was supposed to be a slow day. To-day we did the Grand Sail-in to Venice, as we slowly sailed past St. Marks Square and Doges Palace. Later we did a walking tour of both of these places, and then went on a Gondola ride through the canals. We then went to a glass blowing demonstration at "Murano Glass". Very, very large crowds as there were 7 Cruise Ships in port to-day. Hey Mike, we went to your favourite store, the "Ferrari Store", didn't buy one though. Thats if for to-day.

We are in Naples to-day. Did a bus tour of the City, can't believe the architecture that is in this city. Lots of construction going on also. To-day started out very overcast with a few showers, but ended up being a very warm day. Had a very good tour guide, who gave us all kinds of infirmation about the city. Hello all: This morning we are at the port which is closest to Rome. Yesterday we spent the day traveling to and viewing the Leaning tower of Pisa. There was quite a few tourists there yet at this time of year, but I think there were more guys trying to sell umbrellas and wrist watches than tourists.
