kelly thanx for the birthday card guys, great friends are...well GREAT! took reece to sick kids yest for what i thought would just be a routine renal scan after our scare but they found his left kidney is very dilated so he is going to have to go for an ivp and catheter n dye insertion to find out what is wrong so im really worried now! he has to be started on trimethoprin straight away until they know whats happening, poor little guy, i feel so helpless that its not something i can make better or do for him and am dreading seing him have to go through even just the tests never mind what they might find and then have to do to him after that will keep you posted tho. hope you arrived safely in oz! love you both. xx kel. x

Kate, John and Emily *envy* Brings back so many memories looking at your photos, the sights, smells and generalised chaos of south east asia. Glad you went to Phi Phi, we absolutely loved it, 2 weeks of beach bliss. You saw a lot more of Vietnam than us, a thing we regret is not travelling more there, it was a great place (with great Italian food!). Bangkok looks as fun as ever, probably our favourite city in the world, we used to nickname it 'bonkers' with good reason i think. Emily gets ever bigger, can't believe she's 5 months old now. Managed to get a nursery place and start work again in April (boo!). We'll email you a couple of pictures at some point. Anyhoo, have fun and keep on exploring (you lucky sods!) xx
