I must say this country had a different look. Even though there was not many trees around. In the morning we headed off to the horse riding lodge. Even though they are called 'horses' they were really pony size. But they are called Viking Horses. This was Rod's first time riding with me and it was an experience. It was stupid for me to tell the lady I knew how to ride because she put me on the worst horse ever. It was an experience to ride such small ponies and a riding school to have such good safety rules.
The Blue Lagoon was awesome. Even though it was bloody cold getting from the change rooms to the water, it was a relief to get into the water because it was much warmer.
Gulfoss waterfall was beautiful but bloody cold. It was the biggest waterfall I had ever seen having only seen Ellenborough falls near Taree before this.
The geyser, shooting water out of the ground, was amazing and to experience this so far away from Sydney was great.
