Well happy hour sort of never really happened. . . I met up with Sue and then Dave a little later. . . We had some beers, listened to some music, played some pool and then made sure Sue got home safe before heading back down town. . .

Now Dave had somehow got his finger infected several days earlier and after leaving it (like blokes do) it got worse. . . To the point at which the infection was running up his arm. Clearly we were concerned, however Dave said, no, it can wait til the morning. . . Needless to say that in the morning he went to the doctors, who subsequently said. . . . Blimey, if you had left it any longer, you could have lost your arm. . . ?! hhhmmmmm, not good David. . !

2 lots of very strong antibiotics and some pain killers hopefully he is on the road to recovery. . . As good an excuse as any not to drink. . . . . However, last night we had to go out, because upstairs were having a party. . . Very loud music and banging around, etc. . . We can’t complain, we have been doing that since we got here?!?

So we went over the road and played several games of pool. . Yes, Dave could play with his manky finger. It was very chilled out. . . We came back and got invited to the party, but when you are sober, it’s never quite the same?!

We put our own music on to try and drown out the crap that they were playing, but to no avail. I was knackered so went to bed with my iPod in, I had a restless night, but hey whatever. . . !

So the good news is, we have sorted out what we are doing for Christmas! No, its not skiing unfortunately, for 2 reasons. . . Daves finger and it’s very expensive. . . So, we are. . . . . Wait for it. . . .

Going on a train!

We are taking a 10 Hour journey from New York, through the countryside up to Canada and having 4 nights in Montreal. . .

Happy days. . . . ! 24th through to 28th. Should be fun, and you all know how much I like trains. . . . Yeah yeah whatever!
