Singapore is one of the most fantastic cities I have ever been to. It's an Asian New York with all of the glamour. F1 stadiums, a huge financial district with some of the tallest buildings on the planet, one of the best and most renowned china towns worldwide, Shopping centres galore and off course the Raffles hotel with the famous Singapore sling. It is such a clean place where everything is signed posted in English, they drive on the left and you generally feel extremely safe
Having the chance to spend 4 days in Singapore I managed to fit a lot in, including all of the above and more. It has been one of the most fascinating places I have been so far if not a little hot and humid.
The most eventful part of my stay in Singapore has been my trip up to the top of one of the most outrageous hotels on the planet. The hotel consists of 3 skyscrapers connected at the top by a boat with one of the largest swimming pools worldwide. It was amazing!!
This is the place to shop on this side of the pacific. You can get everything here. Every culture from Asia is represented, which means the food is fantastic and the culture is very entertaining.
I was staying in Little India which was very vibrant and lively and I would recommend if you visit Singapore, you pop down to one of the night markets there.
I also ventured over to Universal Studios Singapore which was a great day out.
I flew over to Australia on the 2nd of November. Singapore airport is by far one of the best I have ever been to. If you get the chance to stop over in Singapore I would highly recommend it.
