Interviews and holiday in Australia. I was fortunate enough to be flown to Brisbane and put up at Surfer's Paradise by Griffith University as I'm here for interviews. What a beautiful place! Luckily I have been offered the post to work for this impressive Uni in Singapore.

Well, it's time to say farewell to Australia. This holiday will have to go down as one of the best I've ever had. Starting off in Perth catching up with Sarah and Lou, and finishing off in Melbourne with Uncle Don, Carol and Seana. Along the way we have been spending time on beaches and in the sea. We've been jet skiing, fishing, catamaraning, kayaking,body boarding and barbecuing. We've seen some fantastic scenery and wildlife and enjoyed many great meals out...

Ok, we've been here in Perth for 2 weeks now and this will be our last weekend here as we fly to Melbourne on Sunday! (However Lorraine is coming back to stay in Perth till the end of March). We've had some great times. We've been to some great beaches, Flotera, Coogee, Cottlesloe, Rockingham, Mandurah.we've been jet skiing, been on a catamaran, kayaking on the swan river. Had a bar is at the beach! We've been to penguin island and had a cruise around Seal islan...

We've been here a few days now. Yesterday (Tuesday) was the first day that we had the car to ourselves. So we headed out to look for a beach. After getting lost we went through North Beach, Scarborough (not the Yorkshire one!) and ended up at City beach. The beach had beautiful soft white sand and the sea had great rolling waves. In Perth! Arrived after two fairly comfortable flights on Friday evening! The airports were busier than expected. I was surprised at Perth airport as it was a Little small, but the technology through customs meant we got out quickly. Sarah and Lou's apartment is very nice and spacious. We spent the weekend having leisurely lie ins followed by a drive to the beach. On Saturday we went to Coogee beach and Sunday to Floreat beach. We had a great time in the sea. ...
