Goodbye to Lynne and girls. Down to pier 33 headed to Alcatraz. Ferry across to island, beautiful day - chilly wind. 3.5 hours on the island checking it all out. Meet an ex prisoner, Back to the mainland for lunch at Fog House restaurant and an Alcatraz escape rum cocktail (yum). Clam and crap chowder inside a sour dough cob bun. Enjoyed …

Auckland airport - chilling out, caught up with Aunty Nola and cousin Jann, Nola is 85 today! Was great to catch up. Purchased our All Black tops and relaxed with a beer and cider.
