Bangkok to Beijing... and back
Two days and counting...
I'm off to Thailand for a few days to catch up with a friend before heading to Vietnam for a 17-day, 700-km cycle tour starting on Christmas Day. We start down south in Saigon, ride the east coast and finish up in Hanoi.
After a few days break I'll make my way to Beijing for a 10-day tour of the Great Wall. January is snow-season so I'm really looking forward to the climate change.
If all runs to plan I'll be back in Saigon in time for a 14-day, 550-km trip on the treadly through Cambodia.
All-in-all a wonderful break from 2011. I promise to miss a couple of you. For a little while anyway.

Sheree Good for you Robbie! Was only thinking about you last night (okay dreaming, but dont tell Daniel!), have a wonderful trip, should keep you busy, see you in 2012! xxx
Rod Your a freak Robbie, good luck to your coit after all those k's. I would be packing a nice soft padded bike seat in your backpack! Although you have been known to be rather generous round the rump... :) p.s. mum had a few extra hams on order as we thought you might be in Kiama over x'mas... Anyway have a good trip and come home in the low 90's
