After a morning walk with Wayne, the family hound, we spent two hours at Brunswick Zone bowling... from 9-11am, they offer 99 cent games with $4 shoe rental. For children, bumpers come up. So 3 yr old Liam, even though he is pushing the ball, it rolls s-l-o-w-l-y down the alley, no gutter ball for him! The staff also provided him with a tubular ramp so he places the ball on the ramp and it moves a bit more quickly down the lane. We all enjoyed ourselves, although it is a bit different from Wii bowling...:-) Photo is of 7 month pregnant Lauren in the game!

Later, Ned came over - we played upwords scrabble, while Liam napped and Dan went skateboarding at Franklin Mills. We brought clam chowder for dinner, Ned brought ice cream for dessert. Another great family day! Tomorrow we leave early (630am...) for our drive to Durham, NC - our next stop - for an overnight visit with Dan's sister, Teri and her family!
