howdy folks, doing just fine here in 41degrees kununurra, hottest place in oz and not a breath of wind! only got 4weeks left of visa work, get in there! done 9weeks its been quite painful but nearly there! its hard doing 60+ hours a week in 40 degrees heat but us ponte boys laugh it off! hopefully going t Phuket with rich to do the thai boxing camp, need to change my flights and stuff. should definatly be going, looking forward to getting fit again and on a detox after 9 month of gettin drunk every other day! think we all need to top up our tans before we come home, coz im nearly as white as i was when i left sunnny ponte! anyways speak soon toodaloo x

Ive got a bit of a bike ride coming up and maybe you could come with me.
Its not until sept/oct 2008 though so plenty of time to get training when you get back.

Ye i suppose your wondering where it is then, its in NEPAL, we plan to get to Laasa on the Tibetan border we will acclimatise and chill for 3 days taking in the culture before riding along the Tibetan plateau above altitude and stop along the way to main one been Everest Base camp a ARE YOU UP FOR IT? oops did i say it was no ordinary bike ride?

Alright folks, kunununununurra is s***. nah im only kidding well im not but its not that bad. just cannot be bothered working. worked on a farm weeding n chipping for a few days last week wi sloth from the goonies, was hard work in the heat n had no cold water! start mango picking in morning. booked the thai boxing camp start it on 5th nov n joe might be joining me there around the same time with abit of luck. Rob u aint missin much at the mo here. would way still rather be living it up for a few pennys in Bali. dad get a 6.8 board then donate it to me plz! ya dont want a 7.2 short board thats too long. get a widish one aswell cos mine wa too narrow it was a mission just to sit on the thing. it wa designed for surfing monster waves and is not very manneoverable. i duno when im coming home yet see how money goes. take care love Rich

Hi Rich sunny Ponte aint all that bad just had a megga surf session at Saltburn 6ft clean waves, did some brill mountain biking in the Clevelend hills and the wind is getting up so i think im off windsurfing with my new board then i think if ive got time ill do a snowboard session down at exscape. Phew who needs Aus!!!!!!!!
Hope your still having a good time, It will be good to see you back sooner especially for xmas.
OK Grasshopper when you can snatch the pebble from my hand it will be time for you to leave.

Here is the low down of who's up2 what when we finally finish our farm work for our 2nd year in Oz...
Joe may now travel with Rich a month earlier than planned and head of to Thailand. We made few mates in Darwin who want to do the same and some ppl in Kununurra are heading the same way so we've got numerous options.
I'm considerin keeping the van and takin a Road Trip with anyone who wishes to catch a lift to Perth,then I'll be able to keep Dirty Charlotte at our James's and avoid the hassel of buying and fixing another van/car when I return next year. And then I'll catch a flight from Perth to Thailand and meet up with Joe, Rich and everyone else.
But as we have discovered in Oz,our plans alter by the day! This seems like a really good plan but I know that it will change so sorry folks,nothing is set in stone, but we can assure you we are all having the time of our lives!!

Alright people. whats happenin with the lack of messages have our family n friends forgotten we exist??? only kiddin. well i got back from Bali on sunday, decided i cudnt stay in darwin any longer n got a coach down to kununurra n im reunited with the sweatons. got here last night n i start work thursday morning. dont waste no time! then head back up to darwin on 29th oct cos flying to thailand for a few months then heading back to sunny england from there. cnt be bothered wi the east coast too expensive n not many jobs going so just gonna budget myself in thailand. im doing weeding n chipping on a farm here i dont know what it is exactly but i doubt its chippin pearl shells!
