A near perfect day - we got off the ship at St. Maarten this morning and looked around. Following a brief incident of one child breaking the cardinal rule of NOT taking off into the crowd (five cruise ships docked at the same time - thousands of people....I literally saw red), we proceeded with our chosen excursion of the Seaworld Explorer. We had such a fabulous day today and can see why cruises are a favorite trip of so many. James and I went rock wall climbing today for the first time. I got as far as an arm length from ringing the bell, while Showoff made it right to the top and rang the bell (once they found a big enough helmet for his head -haha). It has been a busy, busy day and I have retired to the cabin after a delectable dinner of Chicken Marsala with warm chocolate cake with milk chocolate sauce for dessert. Bliss. Holly and I, it turns out, get terrible seasickness.... We spent last night and this morning green around the gills. We are all settled away into our two adjoining cabins and are happy and pleased thus far with everything. The ship is huge and amazing, the staff is great, the food and kids programs seem great so far. I have not one complaint other than the fact that James did not bring a shirt and tie, therefore we are banned from tomorrow nights dinner as it is formal wear.
