A quick update as we about to head off to the bus station for the overnight trip to Obera. We spent the morning touring the Teatro Colon. The Teatro is one of the finest opera houses in the world and a source of pride for the country. We had a great tour in English and were all impressed the building. After the tour we found a place to eat and watched USA soccer lose but advance in the World Cup (yeah!). We ended our time in Buenos Aires back at the Casa Rosada and Plaza de Mayo. We were able to see the weekly march of the Madres de la Plaza de Mayo. Every Thursday afternoon mothers of the disappeared people from the last military dictatorship (1977-1983) march in the Plaza. We also hit fee history museum near the Plaza. Now we are off to the bus station.

Darlene Forrest Huge gatherings to watch the match--in Chicago at Grant Park--and in other cities. The sport of the century.
Colleen Let me know if you go back to B.A. as I have a couple more places for you to visit.
