Sorry it has been ages since I last messaged you guys but as you know I've been a poorly bunny! I'm still not right and I'm still waiting for a scan but hey i'm hetting there. I've had more blood test this morning too so maybe they will halp. doh! Anyway hows the poorly foot bird? I hope its getting better! Well you still seem to be enjoying yourself even though your foots busted so thats good news! Can't wait to have you home though honey! I can't believe how quickly that last year has passed! it's just flown by hasn't it? but i'm glad cause that means you'll be home soon and you can fill me in on all you fantastic travels thats if Ricky hasn't told us everything on the blogs! HAve you thought anymore about publishing your travel blogs and pics? I really think you should cause they make an excellent read!!

Just for the record nothing excitin has happened this end we are all fine joshi is a monster as usual! bless him! He's looking forward to your return too!!

Oh and thanks you so much for the letter and the world famous seashells they are currently framed at the bottom of my stairs with the letter! I was so chuffed to recieve them, So thanks honey!!!

well we've had another trip to the doctor and they've given me a boot so now I'm being called robo sam! this is good news as I don't need surgery and should be able to walk on it in 2-4 weeks! we're now on schedule and in portland, heading to seattle in 3 days. so everyone can stop worring as I'm fine and being spoiled more then normal by my nurse ricky. we've been havin a great time in the national parks even if I was pushed around yellowstone in a wheelchair! anyway will update properly soon! love robo sam

Well you won't let me have a few days holiday in peace will you.I go away and you do a silly thing like that knowing I will find it hard to speak to you.Hope you are feeling better , well at least til the next hospital appointment ,and you are making the best of it as you can .Thanks guys for being there for Sam as she knows her mom or myself would get there if we could to support her. Hiya,

So, Sams ankle is still broken! Well, actually, it's the bottom of the leg bone that has chipped off and left a little bit of bone floating around her ankle area! After two visits to the Orthapaedic, a CAT scan and many X-rays, they still can't fully decide on the real damage until the swelling dies down. Sam may well require surgery to hold the bones in place while they heal but that won't be decided until a week from now when we pay another visit to another orthapaedic in some other town on our travels! The likelihood is that the swelling and bruising will subside and Sam will be fitted with a special shoe (or a permanent cast) that will hold her ankle in place for up to 6 weeks. The pain is nowhere near as bad as it was initially but, obviously, there's a lot of discomfort. She has some strong painkillers for when ibuprofen doesn't do the job so all is in hand! Sam's in good hands with Myself, Jason and Becky all helping out and making sure Sam rests her ankle!

We shall let you know the outcome of the visit in just over a weeks time. Until then.....

helloooooooo thanks for your skpe last night was quite worried it made me feel more relaxed having talked to you and finding out what you did and how you are feeling. Its amazing after all the daredevil stunts you've done and it all happened on the ground. I called your dad and told him not to worry as i know you were concerned about him we had a little chuckle saying you only wanted togo to the hos to see if its like er etc.......... well big hugs and lots of sympathy i know you are in good hands with Ricky feeding you mcdonalds which sounds like hes got it covered keep me posted. Hi guys,
How is everyone? Good, I hope. I'm fine but, unfortunately, Sams not. This isn't the nicest way to let you all know but we don't have much other choice! Until today, Sam went over 24 yrs without breaking a bone in her body... until today! Around 3 hrs ago she jumped up to see over a wall and landed badly on her ankle. 1 hr ago she "walked" out of hospital with her fractured and, recently dislocated, ankle in a cast! Because of the dislocation as well as the fracture the pain was doubled but, as the dislocation immediately healed itself, the severe pain subsided and right now, after two ibuprofen, there is no pain as she lay comfortably on a hotel bed watching tv! This, along with the soon to arrive Macdonalds, pretty much means she couldn't be more comfortable!

We'll keep you all updated as we shall visit an orthopaedic doctor over the coming days for a more permanent cast and estimated healing time.

so........ we've done la, san fran, yosemite, death valley, las vegas and the grand canyon, we've been busy busy busy, had a fantastic time, and seen some amazing sights! too many for me to mention,hope you enjoy my photos, and Ricks videos! hopefully Ricky will get his photos and blogs done soon. we 're off to zion tomorrow for some more camping fun! message us soon. xx
