My liccle sisters twenty first birthday!!! It was eight forty five AM in Tokyo on the twentieth but only eleven forty five on the nineteenth in England I thought it would be novel to ring her from the different time zone (as if we were in the future), she did not answer, I left a voicemail for her. We headed out and Sarah today for the first time hadn't planned a big route for us to take so we dropped our bags in reception and headed out, it was ten AM, we walked to the Tokyo Sky-Tree which by all accounts was a great big massive huge very flippin tall tower (I think I have previously mentioned it) it was now five hundred and fifty nine metres tall and they still had another eighty metres to go. We had an ice cream (even though you could cut glass with my nipples) and walked for another two hours, to be honest not really seeing anything new. We then found a spot for lunch on the river the sun blazing down, generating enough warmth to make me hot (with my coat on), I tried to lap it up because I wanted a little colour as I was as white as a ginger birds arse and thought I would be burnt to a cinder in Thailand. We then strolled hand in hand back to our hotel (smile) and picked up our bags. We were heading for..... the airport, we were flying to Thailand the next day and had a hotel booked near the airport. We checked in, we were on the top floor and again had good views over Narita, we had a cup of coffee in the room and then headed out, it was a small town but seemed nice. Sarah required vodka for the flight the next day as this helped her nerves and provided me with a source of amusement. We couldn't find any but did pick up a delicious snack, it was a naan bread with curry inside. When we were in good old 'family-mart' looking for milk all of a sudden this Japanese sort came up to me and said 'we have all sorts of tea in Japan' the first English we have heard and it was nothing to do with us choosing milk, I said 'I know duck, but we are looking for milk' 'ahhh milk' 'yes milk' 'are you planning to find somewhere to eat?' I was getting quite perturbed now, she looked a little divvy all in denim and slightly overweight (I attract all the belters), 'no we aren't we are on our way to the airport' I said this as she looked like she wanted to tag along all night, 'are you leaving now?' 'in a minute' (well not until the morning but I was scarred) 'righto then we will see you later on then, bye' we walked away 'see yous soon' we walked round the rest of Narita and I was continuously looking over my shoulder. We went into 'Sun-Kus' another 'family-mart' type place and got a little cheap milk, perfect for a couple of tea's. We got back and ate our big size pot-noodles and I whacked the kettle on, Sarah opened the milk 'ohhh no' 'what?' 'we have bought milkshake' first class prats, that would taste rank in tea, I blamed the big crazy who put us off in the previous shop. We shared the mixed fruit milkshake and tried to forget about the awfulness of this tea situation. Sype'd my sister and sang Happy Birthday in my kimono (which was white with tiny blue diamond shapes on it, again I said to Sarah 'to jazzy?' 'well it is a little jazzy yes' so I took it off after the Skype call), was gutted I had missed it but never mind when she's a hundred and twenty one we will party then. We grabbed an early night as the alarm was set for five thirty.
