Howdy strangers ;) lol... so we finally made it to Siem Reap today, only had two attempts to scam us! we had to get up at 4.45 :o and then get a taxi to the bus station, then a 4 hour journey to the border by coach.. next we had to get a tuk tuk to the cambodian border.. so first scam goes.. we will take you to a fake cambodian border that is actually miles away from any border and were they try and charge you loads for a visa :o luckily we managed to persuade the driver to back onto the road and take us to the real border lol! then we got hasselled crossing, picked up two random cambodians who we werent sure if they were trying to con us or help us!lol.. then thankfully we bumped into a french lady who lives in siam reap and helped us navigate the rest of the way.. altho the taxi driver stil tried to con us by stopping just outside the city, even though we had paid for hi, the whole way.. luckily the french lady knew about the scam and managed to persuade him to drive on! phew!lol.. we had a little wander around the markets in siem reap today.. everybody kept hasseling me and saying lady you buy so,ething pretty lol.. rich got left right alone doh lol! tomorrow is temple day.. we have a tuktuk driver for the day who is going to take us around.. we start at 5 :o............ wish us luck!!!!xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
