Hi everyone, so.... our first journal entry - Bangkok was everything everyone said it would be and more (smelly, dirty and very very hot!) but we loved the buzz of khao san Road, the cheap cheap food and definitely the cheap beer at a 1 pound a drink - even beth tried some!!!!! On the first full day there, we saw the grand palace, What Pho (with a huge gold buddha) and Trekked for hours to Lomphini park, where we chilled out watching others exercise instead!...
