Well only 4 days to go till we leave and Brisbane has just hit its stride in regards to beautiful spring weather. By the time we get back it will probably be disgustingly hot .

Well imagine our surprise when after double checking our tickets we discover we have 2 days to kill in Athens before flying our to our destination of choice Santorini.

Not a problem most folks would say, but perhaps most folks have never been to Athens I'm hoping that most of the travel sites and people that have been there are completely wrong and that it is in fact a GREAT place to visit, but I fear not.

Oh well ... 2 days in Athens is still better than 2 days in the office, albeit it significantly more expensive!
