Well had a stroll round Oakland at lunchtime - a fairly big town with a harbour and waterfront area.
Then it was off to Alcatraz - what an eerie place, you get guides and commentary around the place see the cells etc and needless to say its a it's easy to say how horrible the place would have been back in the 1930s.
Whilst we were there the fog rolled in over the San Francisco Bay and maybe please even more spooky truly incredible experience but i was pleased to get back on the boat. you can see for yourself with the pictures I've uploaded.
And it was on to Chinatown and a really authentic meal and a wander around San Francisco's downtown area.
So tomorrow we can see the oakland athletics play ball game and then celebrate Paul's birthday.
