Hi Richard, Last blog was great mate but crying shame you couldnt go to Borneo. I think youve hit the nail on the head getting off the beaten track, i'd encourage you to do that as much as possible. Re blog I remember really struggling to convey just how fantastic the seafood was to my friends when i returned home. Seafoods seafood they'd think..........no it isn't!! ... you've found out now as well so at least you believe me! Footys going well without you lol, we drew 1-1 against Ops Delivery in a brusing encounter. So thats a win and a draw in the first 2 games. Playing a 4-2-2-2 formation! Have a nice day!

Hey Richard and Sarah,
JUst had a quick read through your message board. I hear you enjoyed magnums! I had a similar problem with bed bug bites after leaving the SV Whithaven in the whitsundays and had to bleach all my clothes. Im working in Melbourne now probably until the summer before heading back. Im workign 10 hour days 7-5 which is killing me but its nice to be getting some money again. Louisa just left for South Africa, i am sure she has been in touch but i forgot your email address. Okay back to work now. Enjoy Thailand and richard keep practising with table tennis, ged says he will thrash you next day. Later mike.
Sarah
Hi everyone, dont worry my eye is absolutely fine now, whilst watching them i thought they were the most crazy fireworks (firecrackers they call them) ever and a bit dangerous...which proved true! Anyway Singapore hospital was so swish and new that i completely trusted the doctor even when he didnt speak much english and was sticking things in my eye! Scary!! I think poor Richard had the worst job just watching!!
Laura, So upset that we are missing your birthday party, you know how much i love fancy dress!! Anyhow, hope Keith finds a sidekick....humm what is he going as? It reminds me of them going as Indians for Nichola's 21st !!
Michelle-thanks for your culinary advice! We are loving the food. May do a culinary school too if we get the time...
Rosanna, we hopefully start our PADI scuba diving course tomorrow. You should definately do it-we so so enjoyed diving on the barrier reef, our first time, and of course the water is so lovely and warm!! let me know how it goes!
Mary-oh my word, the RSA, i know what you mean...it feels like a million years ago and just five minuites ago all at once! Looking forward to coming up to Edinburgh and seeing you all when i get back :-)
Faye&Ian, The company we did the Ayers Rock thing with was, (very originally) called Adventure Tours Australia'....they were our second choice after a company called 'Wayoutback', but they were absolutely excellent, our guide Chris was an absolute professional and so knowledgeable. We were in a group of 9 but i think the group sizes were even smaller with wayoutback. We did a 4 day tour which was plenty long enough to see everything and i dont think i could have stood the flies, dust, heat any longer so it was perfect. Let us know what you decide!
Anne, good luck with your buisness, after our amazing Thai massage this morning i think we will both be regulars for a massage from you!! We were saying you should commendeer Johnathon's front room for your buisness!!
Just 3 weeks till we are back, cant believe it...but still lots to do!, lots of love Sarah xx

Hey guys! So jealous of you two - sounds like you're having an amazing time (apart from all the illness!) The weather is miserable in Scotland, although I'm really not sure I could cope with 52 degree heat - 25's too hot for me!! Went to the RSA student exhibition last week and couldn't believe it's been a whole year since we were exhibiting there, although at the same time, it seems like forever! Hope you have a great time in Thailand, and can't wait to catch up when you get back!

helloooo, sounds like you are still having an amazing time - its definately encouraging me to do a bit of travelling when i finish uni (which is scarily soon!) they've given me my graduation date which i thought was a little optimistic of them considering the amount of work that i have piling up.
Your photos are cool, definately a good distraction. Hows your eye sarah? was it sorted straight away? i cant even imagine how much i would have whined if that had happened to me!! quick question - is a leaf frog poisonous? i was just looking at the face of the lady behind richard, looks a bit like she knows something you dont...
anyway, keep us all updated - hope to spk to you soon xxx
ps- keiths really missin you now richard because he wants a 'wingman' for fancy dress at my 21st!
Anne

Hi there!
Great website up date! Malasia sounds cool. Makes me wish we were going there too. Shall have to be another trip. What company did you do the Ayers Rock thing with? I guess it will still be that hot when we were there. Good, i don't like camping in the cold!
Our Mum's are coming to visit in a couple of weeks time, which will be fun.
We were up in Hawke's bay with Ben and Alice at the weekend. Had a great time. Isn't their cottage just beautiful? had a lovely time catching up, drinking wine and seeing the sights.
Sarah keep well, hope you don't have any more hospital visits.
Love Faye and Ian
