Hey everyone, well i have got the daunting task of summarising the last week.  It has been so amazing and action packed i am actually nervous about doing it!   Plus i am absolutely exhausted (and rather smelly)as i have not quite recovered from sleeping in the car last night (Richard's money saving scheme)!!  Actually, despite my negative attitude to the whole idea it wasnt such a bads night sleep and im only slightly crippled as a result....

We waited for the heat of the day to pass a little before setting off and headed out into the Atacama desert. After our 26 hour flight from Manchester, via Heathrow and Miami we arrived in Lima, very thankful to find our bags had also made it.24 hours in Lima were quite enough for us - it really isn´t the prettiest place to visit. Lima gets less than 7mm of rain in a year and everything is just grey and dusty- I don´t think it ever gets the chance to be cleaned.
