We arrived into Sydney on the 27th Dec and immediately the differences with NZ were striking- first off .... it was hot - baking hot at 5pm in the afternoon - the kind of heat that you know wont really cool down at night (so some camping might actually happen!) in contrast to the fresh heat in NZ.
