Hi again, here's what we've been up to..... From Cairns we flew to Ayers Rock; can you believe three hours of flying only gets you half way across this massive country. Hi Everyone, We are in the middle of trying to book accomodation for Ayers Rock (not a cheap hostel in sight so we are shopping around for the best deal.....and we have just heard that it is Chinese New Year when we are in Singapore so we will have to really search for accomodation there too!! ) This organisational stuff is endless....anyway i'll try and recap on some of the stuff we have been doing.... We arrived into Sydney on the 27th Dec and immediately the differences with NZ were striking- first off .... it was hot - baking hot at 5pm in the afternoon - the kind of heat that you know wont really cool down at night (so some camping might actually happen!) in contrast to the fresh heat in NZ.
