15th June

Departed Brisbane after queing for over an hour to book in. Then a 40 minute delay on departure but then an 8hour 40 flight to Hong Kong. On arrival it had just got dark three hours later than we have been use to. It was 29 C and very sticky.

16th June

Woke this morning to over cast skies and high temperatures and threats of a thunder storm. Just about get ready to explore the town. Caught the White Knuckle Ride bus down to Hong Kong Central, where the place is full of Designer label shops and High Rise Buildings. After a bit of window shopping we ventured over the harbour to Kowloon and had a short walk up Nathan Street. In the evening we met up with Selina and John , Rob's brother and sister in law who took us to the Balkan Ice bar for some Vodka shots in the Ice Bar which was -20C which made a pleasant change to the 30C outside and 99% humidity. After the Ice Bar it was of to a Vietnamese Restaurant.
