Today we arrived at Bryce Canyon National Park. It's a great place with fab views and weird rock formations known as hoodoos. We took in the scenic drive today stopping at tonnes of cool places on our way through the park. We saw deer and turkey vultures amongst the awesome scenery. As it's so high up now (we are at 8000 feet, probably another 2000 feet higher than yesterday), and the temperature has notably cooled, we are glad of our campfire (thanks Chris and Emma!) and our warm fleeces. We are also especially glad we stocked up on a few beers and vino a few days ago as Utah controls the sales of alcohol very strictly so it can be quite difficult to buy here! You can only buy from the state registered stores! Hmmm, debating the political and stereotypical tendencies of this state brought to mind an advertisement we saw earlier for Polygamy beer, whose tag line was, 'so good, why only have one!'. Genius! There is supposed to be free wifi here but I haven't yet managed to make it work so will try again tomorrow!
