In the spectacular walled city of Rothenberg, Raylee and I ditched Gary and Barry and hit the shops for our first good shopping since we hit Europe!
We found some real little gems for different people back home. This photo is of Raylee resting briefly on the outer wall of the township, looking out over the valley below. After a brief respite, it was back into the narrow cobblestone alleyways to seek more places to spend our money.
We did manage to fit in a visit to St Jakob's Church, a centre for pilgrims in the Middle Ages because it had a drop of the blood of Christ.
Then back to the shops before meeting up with our group for the walk to the coach and the return trip via the autobahn to our ship an hour away at Wurzburg. The weather is BEAUTIFUL! What a great way to spend the day!
