After touring round all the major Parisienne monuments, stopping only at Place de la Concord, which was spectacular, we were deposited at the Eiffel Tower, and put to the front of the queue. A man in an adjacent queue, told us he had been in the line for almost two hours! We took the lift to the second floor and were amazed by the spectacle of Paris laid out before us.
The houses and buildings are all a similar colour and style. The city looked beautiful and in the distance we could see Sacre Couer on its elevated site. We could see the Tower.
